It's diaper changing time! =) I love her little feet!
Anywho, Saturday was running-errands-day. First we went and got me an iPhone! I am super excited about it! I am in love with it! There's this one app on there called iBabySee and it shows pictures for a baby to look at and also plays comforting music as well. Lyla was crying the first time I showed it to her and then she just stopped and stared at the screen! It worked! I love it! Rhett ended up getting my phone. He originally had one of those block Nokia phones. I love him so much because he said he didn't really care what phone he had and he really could honestly could care less about that stuff. That is one of the main reasons I love that boy...he's so down to earth and not at all superficial. I wish I could be more like that....BUTTTT in the meantime I sure do love the heck out of my new phone! =) We also made a trip to the Bass Pro Shop so Rhett could get some gear for the annual fishing trip to Eufala coming up this weekend. After all that we were so completely drained so went over to Rhett's parent's house for a relaxing night of eating pizza and watching some good ole TV.

Sunday was Wesley and Kelly's Going Away Party. Kelly and Wes are moving to Savannah, GA this coming up Saturday. Kelly got accepted to Pharmacy School so they will be living there for approximately 2 years. We are so very sad because we have game nights with them on a regular basis...we will just have to make a bunch of trips to Savannah! I love Savannah by the way! My Mom use to live there and I think it is one of the most beautiful Southern cities. I would actually love to live there one day. Anywho, back to the party...it took place at one of Kelly's family friend's house on the water. It was just gorgeous. Lyla dipped her little feet in the water and didn't cry, so I'm assuming she liked it. Once the sun was on it's way down and it cooled off a little, Lyla began to really enjoy the outdoors. She took several little cat naps throughout the party.Grammy and Grandpa by the riverside with their granddaughter.
Wide eyed Lyla!

Wesley and Kelly! We will miss them!

So, now it's Sunday night and I'm just trying to unwind and relax a little! We have a busy week ahead! Tomorrow is a play date with Miranda, Jubilee, Leigh, and Cameron, Tuesday is Mommy and Me class (probably my last before I go back to work), Wednesday I'm pretty sure we'll be packing, and Thursday we leave for Eufala, AL!! Whoa!! I'm exhausted already! Have a fabulous week everyone!

Aww, sad that Wesley and Kelly are moving away!! I think you guys should DEFINITELY move to Savannah one day. I am obsessed with the books, "Savannah from Savannah.." I have read 3 in the series! It always makes me want to visit/live there. If you guys live there someday, I think you would have to make room in your house for the VDM's! ha!
The first little photo of Lyla really is so precious. I love her little feet as well! I miss your family and love you so much my heart!!!
ps-also sooo sweet about the surprise baby shower!!!! You will have to post some photos from that!
Lyla is so much more smiley than McKenzie. She is super cute! I was hoping y'all might have gone to PFUMC on the Sunday of Memorial Day so McKenzie and Lyla could meet. Maybe next time!
Aww, that is so cute that Lyla got her first taste of playing in the water! I really cannot wait for when we take her to the beach. I get soooo excited whenever I see baby bathing suits! I love you so much!
PS... Torrance, I have never heard of those books. Who writes them? I want to read them!
Hey Jo Jo, they are by Denise Hildreth. I think you would really like them. The girl in the book reminds me so much of our group of girlfriends. They are fun reads.
Hey Pam! I heard that you wereat PFUMC and I'm sad we missed y'all! Maybe next time y'all come in town let me know if you're going to go to church and we will definitely be there! I would love for Lyla and McKenzie to meet!
