We had a very nice, uneventful weekend with basically nothing going on and no where to be. Nice. Very nice.
Friday night we, of course, went to the Tate football game. Tate played Crestview and won! YAY! Jill and Justin also came (with Kennedy of course) so it was fun hanging out with them as well! We ended up getting the girls shirts that say Aggie Princess, so I'm sure pictures of them actually wearing the shirts will come soon enough (I had to order Ly's to get a small enough size for her). So I can't wait for next week when Ly can wear her new shirt to the Pace game (if it gets here in time)! :)
Saturday we just basically were real lazy in the morning and then that afternoon we went to the park at Solutia. It was reaaaaaaal hot (where the heck is the Fall weather?!), but we had fun nonetheless. Later that afternoon, Rhett watched Lyla while I went to Books-A-Million and read. He is so very sweet for giving me a little break. I truly do appreciate the alone time. After Books-A-Million I had a craving for TCBY. I have not had TCBY frozen yogurt in what seems like a year. Well, let me just tell you that the first lick (I got a cone) was heaven. I'm not even exaggerating. After my alone time, I was ready and refreshed to come home and hang with my fam. We basically just chilled together the rest of the night while watching the (very) close Auburn vs. Clemson game. I'm pretty sure Rhett almost had a heart attack at one point during the game.
Lyla loves the slide... However, she is still a little unsure of going down it alone soooooo....

Mommy went down it with her the rest of the time. And trust me, I know I look like it was a scary slide (I have no idea why) but it wasn't. :)

Like I said, it was reaaaaaal hot...hence her red little cheeks. Her Mommy was red and sweating like a piggy too.
Me and my gal...

Sunday we went to church and then to lunch with my Dad. I really do love spending Sunday with my Dad....and I know he loves seeing Ly (and us) as well. :) Here's my sweetheart all dressed and ready for church...

We do love eachother.... Oh, and for the record, ever since I dyed my hair more people have said that Lyla looks like me. WHAT WHAT! :) He he...

She is so very cute. She loves to be in pictures (she doesn't quit know how to pose for them yet...we'll work on that)...

My sweet girl...She's getting better with letting me put things in her hair (thank goodness!)...
