Could it be any more gorgeous outside??!

I have to say, I've never really been a fan of hot weather. However, here lately, I just love it!! In fact, I am actually excited about the summer. I think I just got tired of it being cold!! I'm ready for the beach and jet skiing and camping out and other fun outdoors stuff like that! I'm just ready to be outside! This weekend was just a taste of the beautiful summer weather that is to come!
Friday night, Rhett and I went out to eat at Times Grill with out neighbor friends Melissa and Nate, who had just come home from Paris! After a fun and yummy dinner we came home and played games. Actually we just played one game because Rhett and I are both poor sports and thought we both sucked as partners. We kept getting mad at each other!! Well, mostly I got mad at him because he wasn't playing good! I mean hello, when the game asks "What kind of dog makes for a good watch dog?", the answer is not "a canine" which was Rhett's answer. So anywho, the night ended in a wrestling match between my lovely husband and myself! All in all, we had a fun and hilarious night with Melissa and Nate, who yes, won the stupid game! Thanks to my partner Rhett. =)

Saturday Rhett had a fishing tournament in which he came in 4th place and brought home a little money. Yay for Rhett! Saturday night Rhett and I went on a little date, we went out to eat and then went to the movies. We saw The Ruins, which is real freaky! I liked it though, but then again I am a horror movie fan! I would not suggest it for my little friend Jo Jo who gets real scared! That just reminded me of what Kristi and I use to do to Jo to scare her! We use to whisper "die die die, Jo Jo Jo"...you know, from Friday the 13th. Well, we just added in the Jo part. Anywho, good times!

Sunday was such a beautiful day so Rhett and I rode the jet ski all over Escambia Bay! It was so pretty and the water felt so good! I love just sight seeing! Rhett tried to show me all the different kinds of fish that were jumping out of the water and all I cared about was seeing dolphins!! Which sadly, we did not see. Oh well, maybe next time!! I'm very excited about tomorrow night! Rhett has a softball game and I just love going and cheering (mostly heckling) them on!! YAYY!

Just a nice weekend!

I am just so happy right now! I just got done reading Kristi and Ruco's new blog which updated everyone about their life over in The Gambia and looking at all their amazing pictures! They are definitely doing amazing things over there! It just brightens my day when I have any contact with Kristi...even if it is just reading her blog. I miss that girl so much, and I know that I am not the only one. However, my heart is more at ease when I see pictures of her holding those cute children...she is right where she needs to be.
Anywho, on to our nice, peaceful weekend. Friday afternoon I got my hair cut and highlighted! YAY! No surprise there...I probably cut and dye my hair more than one any person I know. I just like change. That's all. I love it though! I love my hairdresser at Dillards!! Her name is Kate and she is awesome, sweet, and knows me so well! The last time I got my hair colored with her I got it dyed super dark, so I didn't need to up keep it so much. Well, when I walked in to my appointment Friday she said "Are we going back blonde?" and I said "YESSSSSSS"! She just knows what I like! Friday night Rhett left for Panama City to go to a fishing tournament (the tournament was Satruday). Poor little Rhett slept in his truck, only got a couple hours of sleep, and woke up at like 5 am to go fish!! Personally, I don't understand it, but hey...whatever floats his boat! HA...no pun intended. Soooo, needless to say Rhett was not home Friday night so I had a date with me, myself, and I. I laid up on the couch, ate me some green sherbert (which is quickly becoming a favorite snack of mine), and watched movies all night long! It was heaven!
Saturday, I cleaned the house (it desperately needed it) and got lots of chores done (no fun!). Rhett came home late afternoon and we met his parents for dinner at The Texas Roadhouse. Yumm, well...usually it's yum. Mine was at least. Rhett's dad got a Ribeye and he said it tasted funny so I took a bite and my instant reaction was to spit it out! It just had to much of a "beefy" taste to it! HA! After dinner Rhett and I went and watched Prom Night. Hmm...not that great of a movie if I'm being honest.
Sunday we went to church and then out to eat with Rhett's parents again! They must love us. Sunday afternoon was just absolutely beautiful and so we took a nice long walk with Aubbie. So, in closing....life is good! And we can't wait for our neighbor friends to get back home from Paris!! We miss them so!

Jo and Justin's Fabulous Wedding Weekend!!!

Oh how I love weddings!! I especially love it when it's my very close friends getting hitched!!! Jo and Justin have such a special place in my heart! Jo has been one of my best friends for so long and she has always been there for me, and Justin is just plain awesome because he is absolutely perfect for Jo!! He completes her fo sho!
Rhett and I left for Tampa bright and early Thursday morning. Once we arrived I hurried to get ready and leave for Jo's Bachelorette/Lingerie Par-tay!! YAY! Jo got lots of hot lingerie!! She even got a Naughty School Girl outfit...which everyone of course needs!!! HA! Anywho, after the Lingerie Shower all the girls went out to celebrate Jo's last night as a Bachelorette!!

Friday Rhett and I relaxed at the hotel, laid out by the pool a little, grabbed some lunch, and got ready for the Rehearsal and Rehearsal dinner!! Jo and Justin's wedding was going to take place in this beautiful historical park located in Bradenton (which is right outside Tampa). Rhett and I arrived pretty early and just walked around the historical park. It was so very neat...we went into an old school house, an old court house (which was supposedly the oldest in FL), an old farm house, and of course the church!! The church was just beautiful!! It was surrounded by trees that had moss growing on them and it just couldn't be more picturesque!! Once Jo, Justin, and the rest of the bridal party arrived we went through the ceremony. After the rehearsal we took lots of pics and then headed to Popi IV for the rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal dinner was so fun and set up in The Lady and The Tramp theme. Too cute!! We all just sat around, chatted, and laughed! Good times!!

Saturday Danielle and I got ourselves ready and then headed to the reception site to meet everyone before heading to the church. We were all in awe of the decorations at the reception site. Kristyn's mom did a great job as the Event Coordinator!! And then of course we saw Jo in her wedding dress and were really in awe!!! She looked absolutely gorgeous (as you can tell in the pics further down)!! Just like a Venezuelan Princess Bride!! Her dress sparkled and fit her personality perfectly! After we stopped gawking at Jo we took a bunch of pictures, sipped some wine, and then before we knew it we had to head to the church for the ceremony! The ceremony was beautiful. Simple, classy, and just so pretty! Jo and Justin both were so happy to see eachother and just so happy to get hitched!! Oh, and how could I forget my sweet little husband almost didn't show up to the wedding. Rhett and Len road together to the wedding and I just KNEW that they were going to be late!! And sure enough, Danielle and I are standing up front (having already walked in) and I leaned over to Danielle and said, "They're not here". Yehhhh, they finally strolled in after Jo had already walked in!!! Anywho, at least they made it! =) After the ceremony was, you guessed it, more pictures!! Tara was so cute taking pictures!! She did such a great job rounding everyone up and I can't wait to see the finished products! After lots and lots of pictures we headed to the reception!! YAYY! We just had so much fun dancing and eating and laughing the night away!! At the end of the reception we threw flowers petals at Jo and Justin and saw them off on their way to their honeymoon!!! They are going to stay in a cabin in the Smokey's for a whole week and I just know it's going to be so romantic and fun! Of course the weekend flew by, like I knew it would!! I already miss everyone so much!! I just love getting to spend time with all my friends that live far away. I don't get to see them often at all and I will definitely treasure all the fun memories we made this weekend!! Of course we all missed Kristi and Ruco more than words can say. Jo made Kristi an Honorary Bridesmaid and even put her in the wedding program. Kristi, you were missed so much!!!

Sunday Rhett and I drove home and just relaxed! We both took off Monday so we could spend some time together at home, just us. What a great weekend!! Ohhhh, and Congratulations to Jill and Justin!! They are expecting a little one in October!! YAY for having babies!!
