LINGO!

So I have a new obsession....LINGO! It comes on the Game Show Network, but I don't really like to watch it, I like to play it. Anywho, nothing else more to post. I had a really, really, really (you get the picture) lazy/boring weekend. Actually, Rhett and I did see Vacancy and it was very good!! It definitely made me scream once!! And our house got vinyl sided! YAY! Should be less than a month until we move in! Whoo hoo! Have a great week everyone!

Well, Rhett and I just experienced our first wedding shower Friday night and we had soooo much fun! I was beginning to think this wedding planning stuff was for the birds. It was nothing but stress, but now....we're getting to the good stuff. I started to see that the fun stuff makes all the stress that goes along with it worth it. Anywho, our first shower was a couples shower and it was a cowboy/cowgirl themed! Everyone dressed up in their best cowboy/cowgirl attire, which for most people consisted of wearing a plaid shirt and boots. Ohhhh, but not for Rhett's friends, they went ALL out. They all wore wranglers, cowboy hats, boots, and even belt buckles!! It was hilarious!! The shower took place at Rhett's mom's friend's beach house. Okay, so this house was absolutely gorgeous! It overlooked the water and basically I just wanted to live there (Kristi had the same idea)! For dinner we all ate Billy Bob's BBQ which was catered and it was sooo yummy! After eating Rhett and I opened presents and we got a ton of stuff that we definitely need when we move into our new house. YAY! We have nothing so everything we get helps! I really really can't wait until my bachelorette party because it's close enough to my wedding that everyone who lives OOT will hopefully be in town so they can come! Double YAY! Rhett and I were talking about our fastly approaching wedding on the way home from the shower and we are definitely getting more and more excited with each day that passes. But we both agreed that without friends and family, the people that we love most in the world, our wedding day would not be nearly as special. Long Weekends= MY FAV!

There is one thing I love more than weekends, and that is THREE day weekends! Yipppeee! Thursday night Rhett and I met his friends up at Chan's and played some pool. I'm trying to get better but I still stink at it. Rhett and I usually play as a team and basically the only reason we win any games is because the person on the other team scratches trying to hit the eight ball in....yehhhhh, but I'm getting better. Just like I am with bowling.
Friday night we went to a movie (The Reaping, which ended up being good and creepy) and then to the Santa Rosa County fair. We had oh so much fun! You all probably already know how much I just enjoy the atmosphere of a fair. I absolutely love the food, being able people watch, and all the fun entertainment that takes place at any fair!
Saturday we just hung out all day and met some friends later that night at Texas Roadhouse for some drinks and a good time.
Sunday we of course dressed up and went to church. I decided to wear my sparkly red high heels! Yehhhhhh! After church we went to Rhett's aunt's house for lunch.....I love covered dishes! We just ended up relaxing the rest of the day, which always makes me happy. I am sooooo excited about next weekend though!! It's mine and Rhett's first wedding shower!! YAY! I hope everyone had a great Easter and I hope everyone's week goes by super fast! I certainly hope mine does! :)
