Rhett's B-day Weekend!!

What a fun weekend!! Friday night, my friend/coworker Alexia and I went to the Tate football game and had a blast! We are definitely people watchers and had such a fun time trying to figure out why the new style for young girls is the side ponytail! What is that about??!! Anywho, after the game we went to meet Rhett outside the locker rooms (like I do every game), only this time someone else was waiting for him as well. It was an aggravated parent that was upset because his son only went in the game once. Rhett tried to explain to him that his son had an bad attitude towards him, but the parent wasn't having any of that...so Rhett got mad and went back into the locker room. So, this kid's parent is still standing there and is now talking to another parent and calls Rhett a "punk". Okay, so anyone who knows me knows that I wasn't going to let that guy just call my husband a punk and get away with it. So we had a few words (nice from my side, because we're at a high school football game for crying out loud) and it ended in the guy walking away. Sooooo, Rhett came back out and we were talking about the whole situation and the annoying parent came back up and apologized to me for being rude. Anywho, Alexia got a good show!! Ha ha! And she enjoyed it too!
Saturday night we celebrated Rhett's Birthday with his family at The Fish House! Yum to the E!! That is some good food! After dinner we went home to watch the Auburn v. Florida game in which Auburn won (barely)! Rhett was literally out of his chair jumping up and down when the guy kicked a good field goal for a second time.

Sunday was officially Rhett's Birthday!! While he stayed home and relaxed, I went and got my hair "touched up"...it desperately needed it. Anywho, now my hair is basically blonde blonde blonde. Whoa. I like it, but it will definitely take some getting use to. That night, Rhett and I went to Hemingways for his "just us" birthday dinner. Yet another yummy meal. Rhett's birthday weekend was so fun. He is so cute and I just love him. I hope this week passes by so fast because next weekend little Nyell is getting hitched!! I can't wait!!!

YAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEEK to Rhett!! Thank goodness his mom and dad had him because without him, my life would have one giant sized whole in it!! And in other great news....I just found out my brother is coming home for awhile in October with my marm and Charlie! Oh happy day!

Dog days of summer!!

That is, the very end of summer! YAYY! Sunday is the first day of Autumn! Yippee! I love fall time and it is finally officially here! Well, Rhett and I did not go to Auburn this weekend for a mixture of reasons. One reason is Rhett is very mad at Auburn for losing (he still faithfully watches every game though) and the other is we are broke. Sooooo, we stayed home! Which is fine by me. Saturday Rhett and I took little Aubbie to the Bayview Dog Park and Beach and had such a fun time!! I love taking Aubbie and watching her run as fast as she can around the park with the other dogs! I'm glad Rhett got to experience that too!
Anywho, next weekend should be a blast, it's BR's (that's what Kristi calls Rhett now) 26th birthday!! Holy crap he's old! Speaking of getting old, I can not even believe that my brother just turned 27 September 20th!! Happy Late Birthday Jesse! I love and miss you! In two short weeks Danielle and Len are getting hitched, my mom and Charlie are coming to visit the weekend of October 19th, and Kristi and Ruco are coming home for a short while November 5th!! There is so much to look forward to in the coming weeks! I can not even wait!

Just a random little weekend!

Weekends pass by wayyy too fast! =( Oh well....only five more days until next weekend! YAYYY! This past weekend was oh so much fun! Friday night was the Tate football game, in which they won! Yay for Rhett! He's always in a better mood when they win...strange how that happens. Saturday was college football day. Rhett and I went over to our neighbor/friend's house and had a cookout! Since they are Auburn fans as well, we tuned in to the Auburn game, in which they lost! Rhett was a sad little boy, but he definitely cheered up because we are going to an Auburn game in two weeks. Hopefully they will win that one at least!! Anywho, Sunday was fun, I got a new camera! Whoo hoo! I have been wanting a camera that takes fabulous pictures for so long. It's not one of the really nice ones like Ruco's (I would have LOVED to have gotten a camera like that....one day!!), but it will do just fine for the picture taking I plan on doing! New camera means a lot of random pictures, sooooooo here ya go! Have a great week everyone!
