Messy Max

Our little buddy is quite the eater.  Recently, we have discovered that he loves ravioli and with that, comes an inevitable mess.  But it is SUCH a cute mess! :)
Even with ravioli all over his cute little face, he's still so handsome!
Messy Max pretty much from head to toe.... Little buddy went straight to the bath after this meal. ;-)
We're definitely getting to the really fun stage with Maxie.  He's close to walking and he's fussing a lot less these days.  He's starting to eat a lot more table food and a lot less formula (Praise the Lord!).  Those are the signs of toddlerhood on the horizon my friends.  Yay!

Lyla's PreK Graduation

The time has come to say farewell to Preschool (we loved you!!!!!!) and hello to Kindergarten (bring it on!!!).  Today was Ly's Preschool Graduation, which turned out to be the cutest ceremony ever!  They said The Pledge, sang a bunch of songs, had a Graduation processional, and received their diplomas.  Each child had the chance to say what they were going to be when they grow up and our sweet Ly made us proud, she said she was going to be a Teacher!  :)  I sent the video to my Mom and she texted me back that she cried.  I have no doubt that she did.  We love our sweet girl and are very proud of her.  Definitely bittersweet.  We could not have asked for a better preschool experience, but we are so excited to see what Kindergarten entails.  And it's not the end of the road for us at Gonzalez UMC, Baby Max starts in the 1 year class in August.  So he will grow up there and go to PreK there as well.  We know he will be in awesome and Godly hands.  Here are some pics from our day and the ceremony...

Our family of four ready to go!
Ly has made such sweet friends.  Some are going to McArthur with her and sadly, some are not.  But we will most definitely have play dates often!  And maybe slumber parties??  Eek.
One of Ly's very best friends.  She and Jubilee have been attached to the hip this entire year.
Sweet Karys.  She and Lyla are sweet, shy souls.  :)
I have loved watching Lyla make friends.  I'll admit, before putting in school, I hoped that she would make friends easily and we have been so blessed.  Her class was so close and each and every one of them loved eachother.  Of course, the boys thought the girls were gross and the girls were boy crazy and sometimes vice versa...but that's how it goes. ;-)  Lyla pretty much had a new boyfriend(s) each week.
All the graduates.  VPK A on the left and VPK B (the one Ly was in) on the left.
The graduation processional...  Kids in caps and gowns = pretty dang adorable.
Mrs. Lisa and Mrs. Lottie giving Ly her diploma.
Lovin' the cap and gown look!
 We love our Opa!
Our first attempt of a family photo....
And the second attempt....  Ohhh, there's Max's face! :)
For dinner, we went to celebrate at Outback!  It twas yummy!  My little Lyla got her very own (kids) steak.  She's definitely a meateater.
