Anyone who knows me, knows I absolutely LOVE Halloween! It is my favorite day of the year, by far. Now that I have kids, I just love watching them trick-or-treat! :) This year, Lyla chose to be a "mean" witch. However, I think she was pretty much just a beautiful witch with some sass to her. Max was a vampire. He didn't want to suck blood, just a bottle. :) We had a great night! Ly had fun trick-or-treating, but I'd have to say her favorite part was passing out candy to the other trick-or-treaters once we got home. She loved that! And here are a few pics from our night!
And perhaps you're wondering why in the world I am blogging all this on Halloween night...right after trick-or-treating and such. Well, it's my last day of maternity leave (cue an excessive amount of tears), so I might not have a lot of time to blog here on out. I will most definitely make every effort, but it will not be as much as I have been blogging. Tomorrow is going to be a hard, hard day. I can already feel the tears welling up. I know it will get easier with time, but knowing that won't make it any easier tomorrow. Thankfully, I start back on a Friday (pay period starts on Fridays) and will go right in to a weekend, so won't be that bad. These past few months have been AMAZING with my children. Pray for me tomorrow please. :)
