I <3 Lazy Weekends

Nothing really spectacular happened this weekend. Friday night Rhett and I went on a date...we went to Zea's for dinner (yummmmy, that is definitely one of my favorite restaurants) and then we went to a movie, I Know Who Killed Me. It was a pretty good movie, a little weird, but still I think it's worth seeing.
Anywho, Saturday was a lazy day. We went over to my dad's house and hung out with him, Tammra, and Melody for awhile. I am definitely starting to come around to the idea of Tammra, Melody, and her son Taylor becoming a part of my family. Taylor and his fiance just had a baby boy whom they named Jack...so I guess Rhett and I are kinda of his Aunt and Uncle. He is adorable! Anywho, Saturday night we stayed at home, cooked, and watched a movie. I love being a homebody...it's heaven.
Sunday we were lazy again, but we did do a little work. Or, I guess I should say Rhett did...he mowed the lawn. He he he...it is freakin' hot outside! Oh, and weather people are sooooooo stupid!! This past Thursday they said 50% chance of rain Friday, and 60% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday! It has not rained a drop since Thursday! At least not here or anywhere else Rhett and I went this weekend! I think I will make my own weather interpretations from now on!
I have good news too! Well, good for me and Rhett...Rhett got a teaching job for this year! For those of you who didn't know, a teacher on tenure from Woodham (which closed) replaced Rhett at Tate. He was really sad about it and we were really worried, mainly because we just bought a house, but with the help from an acquaintance of Rhett's he now has a job for August! YAY! He's going to be a "floating" elementary school PE Teacher and work at 4 different elementary schools each day. He also gets an hour and a half lunch break, which is great because then he might just be able to eat with me some days!! Isn't it great the way things work out?!!
